But, let me tell you. Live. Terrifying. I saw Sufjan Stevens and the Illinoisemakers in London. It was a moral highwire act - it felt electric and courageous. This monstrous angelsong. Sufjan sung it with his head slightly cocked upwards and tilted, as if meeting the audience&#039;s gaze would be too much and he wouldn&#039;t be able to carry on. I think if the song was any longer, breathing would no longer be possible.</description>
