Oh man.
It seems that a wave of DIY videos about that most raucous and visceral member of any band–the drummer–have been coming out of Detroit lately (and yes, I do think in this case “a wave” can mean “just 2″).
In late January, we were all truly blessed with the emergence of a Drum Lesson video with the late, great Tits Dungbelly. This video has been bringing a lot of extra traffic to your good old Post-Rockist website. According to our Statistics and User Feedback Department, based in the bookmark to our Google Analytics account on my web browser, we’ve received new readership from interneters Googling the keyword “tits.” In fact, one such reader ended up clicking through the site for over 13 minutes.
Thanks “tits” aficionados! We’re glad we could supply the content you crave!
Now, a month later, we have a new drummer video from none other than our friend Whalebomb, whose band, Politefully Plump, really should have been booked to headline the Blowout showcase, with the Dirtbombs opening.

Again, these Detroit musicians need stay far away from comedy. See, they think they’re funny, but they’re not. not at all.
I would assume the same can be said about their musical ventures, but I don’t want to find out.
er.. at least this one had a bi of charm to it..
