We’re still around even if we’re not always here

Hi everybody! I know I’ve heard from a lot of you (read: zero people) wondering what the deal is with the Post-Rockist and our scant and half-assed posting as of late, but you know how easy it is to fall into regular summertime activities when the weather’s nice: catching up on HBO’s John Adams miniseries on Netflix with the drapes closed, staying up late Saturday nights trying to finish reading Inherent Vice, cleaning tile grout, etc. You know, anything to keep our styrofoam complexion intact. But just because we’re not pouring constant fawning attention on the P-R doesn’t mean you can’t find us elsewhere on the internet, lurking. Both Scott and I are on Twitter, and for some reason I can even be found wasting time on Tumblr, in case you’re craving real-time insights into our exciting blogging lives. But fret not, dedicated readers, we’re not about to consign this endless summer to endless bummer status anytime soon! We’ve got big plans for later in the year (read: no plans at all), and if you czech the sidebar you’ll notice that a hot ton of shows have been announced lately, so stick around. You can pretend like you haven’t been spending our time away with other blogs, and we’ll do the same, and maybe one day we’ll be able to make eye contact with each other without blushing from embarrassment.

    You’re missing one:

“Who Loves The Sun?” by the Velvet Underground

So obvious! How did I miss that one? I told you I’ve been slacking lately in the blogging department…
